Assistant Manager, Group Sales

The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Support the Company’s efforts in maintaining current business and securing new business 
  • Support General Manager/Strategy Account Manager to deliver overall volume, rate and revenue targets for new business across all business units
  • Deliver throughput and revenue growth targets which build and secure the viability of our ports
  • Drive the development and execution of strategic and tactical account plans
  • Provide global support for sales and marketing activities for all accounts, end users and alliances
  • Secure new business contracts and contracts renewal for customers
  • Build strong relationship with customers and support customer events
  • Promote the Company’s brands through different marketing and promotional activities
  • Liaise with Business Units to provide customers with unique and differentiated experience
  • Drive business plan and functional projects
  • Resolve daily sales issues, that may involve multiple parties, through co-ordination of skills and resources from across company
  • Support extensive travel and entertainment required in Hong Kong, China and overseas

The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Logistics or Marketing or related disciplines with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in port or shipping line industry
  • Experience in full transport and logistics value chain will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales support tools, e.g. CRM
  • Good strategic thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Assistant Gatehouse Officer

The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Assist Gatehouse Officer in supervising day-to-day operations in gatehouse
  • Monitor the tractor turnaround time for all kinds of gate movements
  • Verify & execute dutiable e-permits, apply to Customs and Excise Department (C&E) for removal of dutiable containers
  • Conduct container weighing and gas testing of Liquid Petroleum Gas cargoes
  • Monitor the performance of inspection contractors
  • Handle all damaged containers, empty return and collection arrangement
  • Prepare laden and empty appointment and car-carrier operation
  • Arrange repair shop service
  • Resolve C&E detained and dutiable issues
  • Handle customer enquiries and requests via email and phone
The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Degree holder in related discipline with 1 year relevant experience, or
  • Diploma holder with 4 years relevant experience, or
  • Form 5 or above with 6 years relevant experience
  • Valid driving license (classification codes: 1 & 2) is preferable
  • Knowledge of container terminal workflow and shipping documentation
  • Conversant with PC application
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Good team player, initiative and customer oriented
  • Willing to perform jobs on shift basis

Equipment Operator (Chinese Version only)

Gatehouse Assistant

The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Assist in gate operations including container weighing and inspection
  • Monitor gate movement
  • Handle shipping/car carrier documents and container appointment
  • Handle dutiable / detained / damaged / rejected container
  • Provide counter service for trucker
  • Process data in a timely, accurate manner
  • Handle hotline enquiry
The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Diploma holder, or Form 5 or above with 2 years clerical experience
  • Knowledge and experience in handling shipping document and terminal operations is an advantage
  • Conversant with PC and Microsoft Office application
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
  • Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team player and customer oriented
  • Willing to perform jobs on shift basis

IT Infrastructure Solutions Manager

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, the job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Support the Company to achieve business targets and solve business problems through technology solutions 
  • Set and sustain an adequate IT architectural strategy to enable the achievement of business strategies
  • Maintain good relationships with internal users and partnerships with external technology suppliers to identify new opportunities for IT services development
  • Initiate and deliver companywide IT infrastructure solution projects
  • Participate in and enable the technical solutions for user department-led projects
  • Monitor & cooperate with the outsourced service delivery team, ensuring effective IT services & operations of mission-critical applications & infrastructure
  • Monitor the key performance indicators of IT services and work with the outsourcing team to initiate process improvement projects for optimizing the IT services performance where feasible
  • Establish an adaptive workplace culture for continuous improvement both in driving service quality and cost effectiveness
  • Conduct coaching sessions with the direct reports to ensure the development of their leadership and develop the team members to meet today’s dynamic requirements
The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline with more than 10 years relevant work experience including 5 years’ experience in IT management or leadership positions
  • ITIL basic or higher certification preferably
  • Ideally with Enterprise Architecture qualifications (i.e. TOGAF, AWS)
  • Solid experience in IT strategy, architecture & solutions
  • Good knowledge in IT service management and operations
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Good in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)

Officer, Billing & AR Management (3-month Contract)

The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Supervise a team to provide complete, accurate and timely billing services to customers, meet customers’ requirements on billing arrangement, handle customers’ enquiries and disputes, manage the accounts receivable portfolio and debt collection
  • Enforce fulfillment of financial terms and conditions contracted with customers
  • Assist the Finance Manager in credit risks assessment and monitoring
  • Assist the Finance Manager to ensure complete, accurate and timely closing of revenue for monthly financial accounts
  • Maintain master records and reporting on billing and accounts receivable
  • Co-ordinate to resolve issues and implement enhancement for the billing and related systems
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures on billing and accounts receivable management
  • Implement process improvements to ensure the best practice is adopted to enhance efficiency and internal controls
  • Conduct ad hoc projects/assignments
The Person

The ideal candidate should be:

  • Preferable with University Degree in Finance / Accounting
  • 2-5 years relevant working experience
  • Familiar with accounts receivable management
  • Proficiency in MS application and experience in SAP
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good analytical, communication and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, capable to work independently and lead the team to meet tight deadlines

Project Coordinator - Infrastructure Project (2-year Contract)

The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Project Planning & Contract, the job holder’s major responsibilities are to

  • Assist the project team in the new development project
  • Prepare project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes and presentation materials
  • Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, and purchase orders 
  • Assist the manager to control and monitor progress and project budgets
  • Keep track of issues and risks, assist in conflict resolution and make escalations when necessary 
  • Site coordination with the contractors and resident site staffs
  • Work collaboratively with different parties to monitor and complete tasks
The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline with 3 years relevant experience, or Higher Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline with 5 years relevant experience including at least 1-2 years in supervisory capacity
  • Solid experience in project coordination of new civil or building development projects 
  • Proactive with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Good presentation skills and able to clearly present and deliver messages to senior management
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Attention to details
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • A valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred

Senior Engineer / Engineer I - Infrastructure Project (2-year Contract)

The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Manage / assist general site administration works of the new development project including site supervision, reviewing proposals from contractors to ensure compliance with user requirements and required quality & safety standards
  • Ensure the materials on site and the workmanship of Architectural Builder's Works and Finishes (AWBF) / MEP works by contractors follow the approved shop drawings and the specified contract requirements
  • Carry out site inspections, quality checking and testing for the construction works
  • Handle daily coordination works with internal and external stakeholders, such as contractors, consultants and end-users, to ensure the site works are conducted in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain comprehensive daily work records and prepare progress reports
  • Assist in monitoring progress and project budget
  • Monitor and educate the work force to work safely if needed
The Person

 

Senior Engineer

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 7 years' experience in site supervision of large-scale construction projects
  • Professional qualification in Engineering or other related disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies will be an advantage
  • Solid experience in management of building design, planning, construction and site supervisory works
  • With knowledge and experience in new building projects, A&A works and ABWF works
  • Knowledge in Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred
  • Proactive with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • A valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Engineer I

 

Engineer I

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or related discipline with 5 years relevant experience, or Higher Diploma in related discipline with 8 years relevant experience including at least 2 years in supervisory capacity
  • Solid experience in management of MEP design, planning, construction and site supervisory works
  • With knowledge and experience in new building projects and multi-trade of MEP works 
  • Knowledge in Building Information Modeling (BIM) will be an advantage
  • Proactive with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • A valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred

Supervisor (Equipment Maintenance)

The Role

Reporting to the Engineers, the job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Allocate and arrange repair and maintenance works for subordinates and contractors
  • Give instructions of work procedures for all breakdown repairs, planned maintenance and installation works
  • Maintain up-to-date maintenance and repair work records
  • Liaise and supervise subordinates and contractors to carry out the assigned works, and ensure the work completed on time, in good quality and correct use of proper tools and methods
  • Identify and execute improvement works to enhance equipment reliability
  • Enforce safety measures and safety supervision at site
The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Higher Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related discipline with 7 years relevant experience
  • Experience in coordination and supervision of repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and container handling equipment
  • Able to control and supervise the duty team to carry out emergency repair for Terminal equipment and facilities
  • Knowledge in PLC, AC/DC motor drives, power electronic, mechanical system, trouble shooting in port equipment and welding work
  • Valid vehicle and forklift truck driving license
  • Grade B or above in Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker is preferable
  • Conversant with PC, Microsoft Office application and Business Support System (SAP)
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Good supervisory, problem solving, decision making, communication and interpersonal skills

Technician I (Chinese Version only)

The Role

Terminal Planning Analyst II

The Role

Reporting to Manager, Terminal Planning, the job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

  • Participate in terminal development and upgrade projects in Hong Kong and / or Mainland
  • Perform analysis and define the medium to long term terminal upgrade, improvement and expansion plan
  • Work with internal and external parties including consultants, government authorities and other stakeholders in different projects
  • Perform statistical analysis / modelling, cost-benefit analysis and workflow analysis for preparing project proposals for equipment and infrastructure projects
The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

  • Degree in Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Quantitative Analysis, Operations Management, Logistics Management, or related discipline
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in project planning, execution or related duties
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis is preferred
  • Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good team player, proactive, able to work independently
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Terminal Planning Trainee

Technician I (Facilities Maintenance) (Chinese Version Only)

The Role
