Assistant Procurement Officer
The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:
- Implement procurement process in accordance with the established procurement policy and procedure
- Communicate with users on procurement matters; prepare RFQ and tender, price summaries, contracts and purchase orders; liaise with vendors in the procurement of goods and services; analyze procurement data and compile reports; provide administrative support and carry out other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have / be:
- Degree or diploma holder in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Familiar with procurement policies, process and procedures
- Experience in using SAP is an advantage
- Strong initiative, integrity and sense of responsibility
- Proactive work attitude with multi-tasking capability
- Good analytical skills and attentive to details
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Terminal Planning Analyst II
- Participate in terminal development and upgrade projects in Hong Kong and / or Mainland
- Perform analysis and define the medium to long term terminal upgrade, improvement and expansion plan
- Work with internal and external parties including consultants, government authorities and other stakeholders in different projects
- Perform statistical analysis / modelling, cost-benefit analysis and workflow analysis for preparing project proposals for equipment and infrastructure projects
- Degree in Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Quantitative Analysis, Operations Management, Logistics Management, or related discipline
- At least 2 years relevant experience in project planning, execution or related duties
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis is preferred
- Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good team player, proactive, able to work independently
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Terminal Planning Trainee
Manager, Security
- Develop, review, implement terminal security plan and traffic related regulatory policies in accordance with the ISPS Code
- Conduct security and safety inspections as necessary
- Act as the company’s focal point with external parties regarding security matters
- Build, maintain and collaborate harmonized relationships with governments, business partners, stakeholders and community
- Establish strong ties with counterparts of HK container operators to collaborate in common security practices and approaches
- Formulate service level agreement with the contractors/service providers and to monitor performance of such
- Develop, motivate and monitor staff performance
- Degree in management with 7 years’ relevant experience, or
- Diploma in management with 10 years’ relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years supervisory capacity
- Knowledge in container terminal operations
- Experience in dealing with government parties such as law enforcement agencies and Marine Department, etc.
- Proficient in written and spoken English & Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and leadership skills
