Modern Terminals Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

Modern Terminals Limited today (5 September) celebrated its 50th anniversary of operations in Hong Kong.  The Company welcomed the first container vessel TOKYO BAY at Berth One at dawn on 5 September 1972 and opened the first purpose-built container terminal in the city.  Since then, the terminal operator has been offering quality services to its customers.  In the past 50 years, Modern Terminals has handled over 140 million TEUs at its facilities in Hong Kong.
